Tradebook & Labs
A trading journal plus a backtesting lab for testing strategies before risking money.
Overview
These were my first products, and they grew out of my time as a junior trader. Tradebook was a journal for logging trades, profit and loss, risk and reviews. Labs was a research server for backtesting strategies and paper trading them.
I retired both in September 2026 to focus on Ledger, so they are no longer online.
My role
I built both, and wrote the research process the lab enforced. A strategy had to hold up across different market conditions, after slippage and transaction costs, under drawdown limits, and on data it had never seen before I trusted it.
